God's Waiting Room Reviews

6/6/2016

Reviews of God's Waiting Room are trickling in! They'll be posted here as they pop up.

"God’s Waiting Room does exactly what it wants to do. It speaks to the audience that it is intended for and even some open minded patrons that it is not intended for. The play is simple, succinct, and truthful. This play places a mirror in front of its audience and demands it choose a side."- Bitter Lemons Review

"The play held my attention, brought tears to my eyes, and brought back many memories – both heart warming and gut wrenching." - Stan Bartosiak

"Extraordinary, totally unexpected for a Fringe Production. I felt I was sitting at an off Broadway play." - Audience Review

"From the moment the first spotlight comes on until the last fade, the audience is captivated by a story that is bittersweet and unforgiving. I laughed, I cried, I trembled. It’s one of those rare occasions in the theatre where the acting and writing gel to evoke emotion from the audience. Filip Hofman carries a range of emotion in his performance as Billy. Denise Carole is magnificent. This will not be the last of “God’s Waiting Room”. This show will go on to greater things. Brilliant cast, brilliant writing." - Audience Review

"Compelling and well-thought material that should provoke conversation from folks on either side of the LGBTQ discussion. Will be going back, and bringing friends to another performance!" - Audience Review

"This is theatre at its best." - Audience Review

"Robert Rossi’s beautiful and troubling script sung beautifully from this well-chosen cast. GO SEE THIS SHOW!" - Audience Review

“God's Waiting Room is quite simply…impactful.
I am still reeling over the personal emotion that was invoked in me after experiencing this powerful story!"
- Audience Review
